The AO limits collection to information needed to operate the publication, measure readership, deliver requested briefings and remember user-selected follows. Following preferences may remain on the reader’s device until an account or subscription is chosen.
Analytics
Analytics may collect page views, referrers, device information and engagement events so The AO can understand reading quality and site performance. Audience data does not override editorial judgment with click volume.
